Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

We are a couple with a 4,3yo girl, an easygoing child. We live in Patra, which is 215km far (2h driving time) from Athens-the capital city. We live in a spacious apartment in the center of the town (Ipsilon Alonion Square) with an amazing view to Patra's town and the sea and only 10min (walking time) far from the sea. We have a long summer period an we enjoy very often swimming and sea sports. An astonishing sandy beach (kalogria beach) is only 30km far. Our town offers almost all choices for hobbies, sports and language learning. If you like, we will arrange to visit the most significant ancient places and monuments in Greece. I would describe ourselves as easygoing, friendly, reliable, confident and flexible.

Job Description

Our daughter attends a nursery school, so the au pair has to pick her up at 15.30 and occupy with her until about 20.30. We would like our daughter to learn the au pair's native language (English or German) through the daily communication, playing e.t.c. Our daughter is a very happy, obedient and adorable child who never bothers us, unless she is ill. The au pair should be in charge of everything concerning the child. Some cooking and laundry would be welcome but not necessary. For the house cleaning, we have a domestic helper weekly. Once a week (at most twice) the au pair should babysit from 21.00-24.00, if we go out with friends. The au pair should follow us to our weekend excursions (at most twice per month) or longer holidays (about 2-3 weeks during the summer).
