Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello, we are Jessy and Panda we are a British family living in Portugal, we moved here for better weather and pace and quality of life.

We live in rural Portugal In a beautiful place on the outskirts of a small village, the nearest city to us is Coimbra, Coimbra is a very old city and extremely beautiful but still very small.

We live on a large estate in the countryside, we rent out part of it for holidays/retreats/weddings

We need help with our 3 wonderful children we need help with at least the following: cleaning and organising the home, cooking and/or driving.

We do not expect you to work excessive hours but it's important to know the role will require you to be happy to help with at least some of these discussed tasks.

Job Description

We would expect 6 hours a day during the week, evenings and weekends will be free, in return, we pay €150 a week. We are happy to increase the amount for more work depending on the individual.

We would like help with; driving kids to school, helping around the house with daily cleaning, organising, tidying. playing activities with the 2 year old baby. If you enjoying cooking or cleaning is a big advantage.

An example schedule may be:

8:30- 11am cleaning the kitchen, general living spaces, bedrooms, bathrooms etc
11-12 - cooking/preparing lunch/dinner for the evening (if cooking is your thing)
12-13:00 lunch break
15-16:00 Collecing kids from school

Accommodation

Provided private room and bathroom and shower, lots of outside space.
location: edge of a small village, 15 minutes drive from towns, 30 minutes drive to Coimbra City where we drive daily.
The surrounding scenery is semi mountainous, beautiful panoramic with a large river and river beach you can access with a 15 minute walk.
