Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Good morning dear girl,
I am Igina, the mother of Laura and Lorenza, two beautiful little girls that you can see from the profile photos that together with my husband Luca we form a beautiful family.
We are an open-minded family, we like to travel and interact with others.
My husband has traveled for years to Germany, the United States, France and England for work and studies.
I speak fair English, while my husband and my girls speak good German.
Knowledge of foreign languages allows you to grow personally by interacting with cultures and customs different from your own.
Since June 2020 we have started hosting au pair girls. The experience is positive for the whole family and every time I find myself with an extra daughter at home. The greatest disappointment... leaving but a beautiful friendship remains, so much enrichment and memories and a little hope in seeing each other again.

WE ARE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR A GIRL WITH ENGLISH OR GERMAN NATIVE SPEAKING FOR THE NEXT THREE YEARS. OUR HOME WITH THE REQUIRED BREAKS WILL KEEP THE DOORS OPEN TO THE AU PAIR PROGRAM.

Length of stay: Minimum one month, preferably 3 or 4, longer or intermittent stays are considered.

Experience: A minimum of experience with children and for household chores and for managing the house, personal order and cleaning and common areas is required.
Start and end of stay: To be agreed together based on the arrival and departure of the other girls booked.

WE HAVE A LOT OF RESPECT FOR PRIVACY AND AN EXCELLENT ORGANIZATION OF THE AU PAIR GIRL'S WORK THANKS TO THE EXPERIENCE OBTAINED BY THE HOSTED GIRLS.

Since March 2021, given the excellent level of knowledge of the English language achieved by Laura, we have decided to introduce the teaching of a third language. German. So we alternate native English and German speaking girls.

Job Description

The job offered is to teach English or German to the girls and do some small household chores.
If the girl knows how to drive with experience (left-hand drive) she can help with the various activities of the girls, otherwise there are many bikes available for her free time. The working hours will be well organized week by week for about 20 hours a week, almost always in the afternoon. A lot of respect and privacy will be given in her free time so that she can carry out her own personal activities of sport, study, work, meetings, etc.
Also on Saturday, half a day of work, usually in the morning. From lunch on Saturday and the whole free Sunday, the girl can decide to stay with her family and go on a mountain excursion with us, etc... or go wherever she wants.
It is about 20 hours of work per week where the English or German language will be taught during the various daily activities through music, drawing, dancing and sports.
The weekly salary will be about 80-100 euros.
The cost of the trip will be divided.
For those who want to take a language course, the school is close to home and the teachers are qualified at a fair price.
No knowledge of the Italian language is required, not even the slightest, at home we are able to understand all English.

Accommodation

We have a small apartment inside our family villa.
We live on a hill in the open countryside but ten minutes from Pescara, a large city where there is also the airport.
just outside the city surrounded by olive trees and vineyards and 4 km from the sea.

We have a small garden and lots of space around the house.
If the car is busy there are buses and for the more sporty ones the possibility of using the bike
In the house we have two bathrooms.
The room of about 14 square meters equipped with all comforts will have direct access to the children's room.
During the hottest periods from May to October we move to the summer residence in a seafront apartment in a small apartment with a large terrace in a beautiful place. In the summer, the au pair has a small apartment near ours for her exclusive use.
