Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Dear Au Pair, we are a family of 4 (plus a little rabbit) and we live in Pescara, a town on the east coast in central Italy. We live very close to downtown which can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes.
We just moved in a new bigger house.
The beach is two blocks from our house and there is a beautiful promenade with a bike path and space for walking and playing sports. In summer time, life takes place mainly there, while in winter the city center is full of nice places where to eat or have a drink. The city is young and fun.

In about two and a half hours from here you can reach the center of Rome by bus or go skiing on the mountains that are found here in the Abruzzo region (the region where Pescara is located).

Job Description

We are looking for a cheerful and helpful girl who accompanies our children to afternoon sports activities and stays with them when we are at work.
Mainly, we ask for availability to stay with the children every day from Monday to Friday from when they leave school (13:40) until dinner time. Sometimes it may be necessary to stay with them even after dinner, but this will rarely happen and we will agree together time after time.
Weekends are free, but if you like you can come with us when we go somewhere you like.
I (Lavinia) am from Rome and have a house there. We often visit my sisters and my brother-in-law, Francesca, Fabrizia and Michael, who live in Rome and adore their grandchildren. We do a lot of funny things together.
We also have a small house in the countryside (Alviano) in Umbria where we spend a few days sometimes.

Family Description

Here is a description of our family:
I am Lavina, the mother. I am 40 years old and I am an architect. I have a studio near my home which is very convenient for managing both family and work. I am a calm and smiling person. I love my job, but my children even more and I try to dedicate as much time to them as possible.
Together with my husband Andrea we often organize weekends outside the city to play sports, go in the middle of nature or visit the cities we like (both in Italy and abroad). Andrea, has an air conditioner maintenance company. He also works two minutes from home and helps me a lot in managing the family. He mainly deals with shopping and cooking. He is very good at preparing good food. He loves to eat and in his spare time he rides a bike. He loves skiing and snowboarding. He is also a quiet type, but always ready to follow me in the initiatives of travelling and adventures.
Then there is Carolina, our oldest daughter. She is 10 years old and starts fifth grade in September. She is a sweet and cheerful child. She loves nature and animals. She's a Scout ladybug. In her spare time, she loves reading and playing with friends. She does skateboarding and volleyball in the afternoons after school.
The youngest of the family is Michelangelo. He will be eight in October and has to start third grade. He is a cheerful and likeable child too. He loves sports. He plays tennis and basketball. He likes riding the bike and playing with friends. He has a passion for toy cars and video games (but he is allowed to play just a little during the day!!).
Carol and Miki are very close and they often play together.
Last but not least, there is our little rabbit Paco. He is 2 years old and lives at home with us. He has a cage where he rests, bu
