First of all, we hope you want to do aupairing because you really love children, much more in the age group considered 1-5.

We will consider you as a family member since, again, aupairing is not a job, which is why we do not want to be considered an employer since we will not consider you as an employee.
We hope you enjoy playing with children, talking, singing, dancing and using your imagination with them. It's not a job at all, it's just being part of a family that shares love and respect for each other.

We actually don't have strict rules about the time the aupair will spend with the child, mainly because it is not easy to plan everyday life with such a small child. Also, we are very flexible and like to plan activities all together as is the case in a family because, again, we will consider you as a member of the family.

Until mid-July Matthew will be in school until 6 p.m. You will then have a lot of free time. The rest of the time we will all spend together, either at home or at the beach taking a walk or just playing a little at the beach or elsewhere.
In August we will continue working for a couple of weeks, while the child can go to the beach in the morning, come back at lunchtime, and then take a long nap in your company. Maybe this won't always be the case; we'll decide it together.
At the end of August we will go on vacation for 10 days. You can take the opportunity to get to know other places in our beautiful Italy if you want, or you can stay at home with Grandma Luciana.
In Mid-September Matteo will start a new schooling in elementary school. In the afternoons he will most likely stay at the afterschool until 5 p.m., but on some days of the week we will plan afternoon sports and extracurricular activities so you will need to pick him up from school and accompany him where needed. In this we will ask you to help us out. If necessary, we will give you our car.

Matthew loves to draw, sing, dance, ride his bike and scooter, do outdoor activities especially at the beach. He loves to play soccer! He is a very quiet, polite and obedient child. He has many friends who often come home to play with him! Luciano loves to cook, so we often invite friends over for dinner. We would be happy if you would come and taste our cooking!
There is always music at home and we hope you love it too.
