Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Quick update: My plans have shifted a bit. Addie will be starting a Mandarin immersion daycare in a few months, so I no longer need an au pair to help with Addie right now.

I hope that within the next year, Addie will have a sibling on the way, and at that point, I’ll need an au pair to help.

Hi. My name is Dan, and my daughter is Adeline, though I usually call her Addie. She's my beautiful little miracle who is now 13 months old.

Sadly, Addie's mom and my wife for 6 years decided to go our separate ways since we no longer agreed on having a second baby. I really want Addie to have a sibling and we always planned to have two kids. But the journey to start our family took much longer than we hoped. We started to give up hope we would ever have a baby that was both ours biology.
We had actually already received the help from an egg donor to create 10 embryos: 7 healthy blue-eyed boys and 3 healthy blue-eyed girls. My hope is that in 2 years, one of these embryos can be born so that Addie has a sibling.

My house is in Center City Philadelphia, so you can walk to places instead of driving. Philadelphia, which is an amazing city with great food and sights to see.

Job Description

I'm hoping for an au pair that can help take care of Addie when she is at my house 2 to 3 days a week. This includes helping feed her, stroller rides, changing diapers, bathing, and putting her to bed.
I can do all these tasks myself, but it would be great to have help. Especially if it's a day when I'm working from home and in a meeting.

There shouldn't be any need for my au pair to drive since I live in the city. But I also have a car and a dedicated parking spot.

My au pair will have a big bedroom with a connected private bathroom and a walk-in closet. The previous owner of my house had the closet custom-painted with an interesting pattern and colors.

My house also has a roof deck, and I plan to get new outdoor furniture. It also has Wifi and a full kitchen.
