Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello and welcome to our profile! We are an international family of 3, mum dad and Leo who is 5 years old. We live in Port d'Alcudia which is located in the beautiful north of Mallorca (Spain), the biggest of the 3 Balearic Islands. It's a touristy port so in the summer months it's very busy with lots of restaurants and fun things to do, especially water sports related. The bus stop is a 2 mins walk from our apartment and you can be in Palma in 45mins.

If you are an independent, positive, energetic, responsible person who is a natural with children please keep reading. We are looking for help from February to October at the very least. This is the ideal position for someone who wants to immerse themselves in the beautiful Spanish and Catalan culture of Mallorca, spend time with our family but also someone who is mature and independent and comfortable spending time alone and making new friends. Job Description

We are looking for someone for at least 7 months to help us out with our son Leo and our 2 small dogs. You should be able to speak good English plus one other language. Please only apply if you're serious about becoming an aupair.

We will need help with the below:
• Dropping our son off at school and later summer school and picking him up
• Looking after him in the afternoons for example taking him to the beach, or playing games at home, driving him to birthday parties or going swimming
• Babysitting some evenings a week and sometimes doing overnights
• Spending the day with our son if we're out on the boat or coming with us for the whole day on the boat (you should be a good swimmer and enjoy the water :))
• Help with walking our dogs, walking them, feeding them etc whilst we are at work or if we are away for a few days
• Responsible for cleaning and cooking for our son, putting toys away
• Ability to cook tasty and healthy meals
• Help with light housework when needed, eg unloading and loading the dishwasher, keeping house tidy
• Travelling with us on holiday as and when required
