Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

We are the s, there are 4 of us for now with another baby on the way early summer 2025!

My wife is Czech and having a connection to her home is very important. We love Czech/Slovak culture and we promote it in our family. Czech food, Czech language, Czech traditions etc.

We are looking to have light help in our daily lives to fill in the gaps and give my wife a bit of a break. My wife is Czech and she travels back to Czech 1 to 2 times a year. We would cover flights to and from Czech for the au pair to be able to help with the travel. This would give the au pair the ability to spend time back home with their family for a few weeks a year.

We would like help with some cooking, laundry and child minding mostly. My wife would still be taking responsibility for the majority of things that need to be done she could just use an extra hand.

Accommodation

We live 15 minutes from the city centre of our northern city in British Columbia Canada. We live on 15 acres in a 7500 square foot home, 7 bedrooms 5 bathrooms. The au pair would have their own large bedroom and full bathroom of their own as well as their own living room and study area. Its good if you can swim as we have a large indoor pool, 20'X40' with a slide as well as a hot tub! We are a 1 hr flight from Vancouver. We have high speed internet, air conditioning lots of space.
