Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello and welcome to our profile!

We are a warm and welcoming family living in a beautiful countryside area close to Munich. We have one cheerful little child and are looking for a kind, responsible au pair who truly enjoys spending time with young children.

Although we live in a quiet and peaceful area surrounded by nature, we are well connected by bus and train to Munich and have a lovely lake just a short walk away. We also have e-bikes and SUPs, which you’re very welcome to use in your free time. Our home includes a small fitness room and a sauna – both available to you as well.

You will have your own guest room with a private bathroom and a small kitchenette, giving you space and independence when you need it.
Your main responsibilities will be to play with our child in the afternoons, go for walks, and help with light household chores, like tidying up after the kid.

We speak Russian and German at home and are happy to support your participation in a language course. If you’re planning to build your future in Germany, we’re also happy to support you in taking the first steps toward creating a longer-term bond with the country – whether that means integration, connections, or simply feeling at home.

Job Description

We’re flexible and looking for around 4 hours of support per day.

Our child currently attends nursery (and later kindergarten), so your day would typically start in the morning by helping with getting dressed and packing a small lunchbox. If you have a driving license or are comfortable riding a bike, you’re welcome to help with drop-off – but that’s not a must.

In the afternoon, from around 2 PM, we’d love your support with spending time outdoors, playing, going for walks, or having a light lunch/snack together.

You’ll always have your own space and time for yourself too, and we’ll plan the week together to suit everyone’s rhythm.

Accommodation

You’ll have your own private space in a newly renovated, bright and cozy basement apartment (Einliegerwohnung) with separate entrance. It’s fully furnished and ready for first-time use, including a private bathroom with shower and a small kitchen area with fridge, sink, and stove.

You’re also welcome to use our small home gym and sauna, and enjoy our garden whenever you like.

We live just a short walk away from a beautiful lake, where we spend a lot of time in the summer. We have SUPs and e-bikes you can use during your free time.

The bus stop is 5 minutes away, and it takes about 20 minutes to reach our local town, where language courses are offered. From there, the S-Bahn takes around 25 minutes to Munich city center.
