Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hi! We are a multicultural American-German-Filipino family of four living in Ramstein-Miesenbach, Germany, just 20 km—or about 20 minutes by train or car—from Kaiserslautern. We speak both English and German at home. The nearest language school is only a 5–10 minute drive away.

If you have a valid driver’s license, we have an extra car available for your use. If not, you’re welcome to use our e-bike or take advantage of the excellent public transportation in the area.

You will be helping us care for our daughter, who will soon turn two years old, for a minimum of six hours per day. We’re an easygoing and independent family, so you’ll have plenty of personal time and space to enjoy on your own.
