Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

I am looking for an au pair to help me. I am a retired English teacher and I can teach you English! I am looking for an au pair who can prepare simple meals and look after the house. I do not mind male or female, aged 20 to 40 — I am 86. Personal care not required, own room, WiFi, and working hours mostly about 25 to 30 hours a week and very flexible arrangements. Location near Reading. Usual au pair arrangements: accommodation, food and pocket money included. No smokers. EU/EEA passport holders only. Must hold driving licence and be prepared to drive my car. I have family nearby who will handle all the arrangements and ensure that you have everything you need.

Job Description

I am looking for an au pair who can prepare simple meals and look after the house. I expect that it would take about 25 to 30 hours of work per week.

Please note that you MUST have the right to live in the UK for at least one year.

If you hold a UK passport, then there is no problem. If you hold an EU or EEA passport, this will almost certainly be OK. If you don't have any of these, then you will need to explain how you have the right to live in the UK for at least one year.

I have a car and ideally I would like to invite someone who has a driving licence and who is prepared to drive my car. However, this is not absolutely necessary and au pairs who do not have a driving licence should still apply.

Accommodation

You will have your own room (including free wi-fi). Accommodation and food will be provided. My house has a patio at the rear and a large lawn gardens, and it is surrounded by trees. I have wi-fi which you are welcome to use. Burghfield has quite a lot of trees in it, and the part of the village where we live is adjacent to a forest where you can go for a woodland walk.
