Job Description

Our current Au-pair will be leaving in August, moving back home after almost a year with us, to continue with work in a nursery. We will be returning from our usual summer holiday in Slovenia/Croatia on the 25th of August and would wish for the new girl to either start ahead of our return (that would be your chance to get familiar with the house and area), fly back with me and Tia from Slovenia or come shortly after.

Your key responsibility would be looking after our little Tia, who will be 20 months old then, during the working days, Monday to Friday. You might also be required to occasionally pick up our eldest daughter Tara Mei from the school however, that is yet to be confirmed, as we are waiting for the school to confirm their transport arrangements. If that is required, you will either need to drive or take a bus.

We will also ask you to prepare simple meals for Tia, evening meals for both, play with them, take Tia Ora out daily (weather permitting), take her to indoor playgrounds, keep their room and toys tidy. In terms of housework, we would ask you to keep the house tidy, hoovering once a day and unloading and uploading the dishwasher.

One evening per week babysitting might be required however, unless babysitting in the evening, your evenings and weekends will be free.

In addition to your room and pocket money, we will also cover any petrol/bus costs during the working times in the week.

We are looking forward to speaking to you!
