Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Dear X,

We are happy to welcome in our family and to hopefully show you some beautiful places in Italy and Europe.

We have a very happy and friendly daughter who is engaging and a delight to spend time with. We are sure you will become friends if you show her kindness and attention.

We will help you to visit the best of Rome and you will have free time during the day, whilst we are in Rome, to attend a language school should you wish to do so. You will travel with us to different places such as Capri, Panarea, the Engadine and other beautiful places when we travel as a family.

Job Description

When we are in Rome our daughter goes to pre-school at 8.30 am, roughly 20 minutes away from the house, and comes out of school at 15.15. We therefore expect a responsible girl who can take and bring her back from School. This provides an opportunity to attend language school/visit Rome in the morning if required.

After she comes back from School she has ballet and swimming once a week and she normally baths at about 18.00, after an afternoon snack and plays. She then has dinner and goes to sleep at around 20.00.

We are looking for a responsible girl who can look after her and play and engage with her, through art and crafts, drawing, music, basic teaching such as numbers and letters, etc.. She should also help to prepare the meals for our daughter, and shop for her daily items.

If we are staying home in the evening you will be free to go out for dinner.

Large own room with window and cupboard. The apartment is right in the centre of teh city and has an elevator.
Bathroom is shared because it has the only shower in the house, but it is not used by anyone else other than for showers.
