Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Dear Au Pair&Granny,
Welcome to our profile!
You might not believe this but despite being so young, my husband and I got married 10 years ago, and we now have four beautiful children. We would love to host an au pair to let them experience a different culture and to give them the chance to learn English from a native speaker. At the same time, we would prefer this person to have a basic knowledge of Italian as well (or to be willing and happy to learn some), since our English is not that good yet.
Give it a look if you would like to be an au pair with a big and happy family in a small and nice city called Rovereto and located in Trentino Alto Adige, a stunning region in northern Italy.
There are six members in our family. We all love pizza (so get ready to eat a lot of true Italian pizza if you come here!)
My name is Carlotta, I'm 30 years old and I work as a nurse. I come from Sardinia, where my parents currently live, but I've been living here since I was 7 years old. I am friendly, I love the sea, cooking, drawing, and I also wrote some books for children over the past years.
My husband is Leonardo, he is 34 years old and work as light designer and theatre technician. In his free time he likes listening to music and playing videogames.
Michele is 11 and he loves reading and writing He's a very sweet and caring boy, and he always helps us taking care of his younger siblings.
Caterina is 9, she's a bit stubborn but also very lovely and full of energy when it comes to singing and dancing together. She's passionate about girly things such as nail painting, make up (only at home!), and shopping.
Massimiliano is 4, he's a child with special needs affected by psychomotor retardation. He cannot speak or walk without support yet, but he has his own way to communicate and his superpower is being able to build relationships with everyone with his smile and sweetness. He also loves swimming and playing with pinwheels.
Violetta is 2. She's a smart little girl who loves getting into trouble and being cuddled and spoiled by the whole family. Her favorite animals are cats and she's like to ride the bike everyday.
We don't have any pet yet, but we are thinking to get a dog next year.
My parents are far away, but we still have a big family here. Leonardo has one brother and two sisters and his parents are amazing grandparents for our children. They love spending time together.
Michele has started kick-boxing this year, while Caterina practices aerial silk. Massimiliano goes swimming at the local swimming pool. Violetta is always running around the house, probably training to become a stuntman in the future! ;)
We love playing, playing board games, meeting up with friends, eating (ice cream and pizza always welcome!), going for a walk, going on holiday on the beautiful beaches of Sardinia where my parents live, doing pranks and telling jokes, cooking, listening to music, and organizing 'just dance' competitions.
During fall/winter, we woke up early in the morning and we have breakfast together. Michele and Caterina get ready to go to school (they currently attend different schools), we take Massimilano and Violetta to the kindergarten. Leonardo and I have different work-schedules, I work part-time and he works full-time. One or two days per week Michele and Caterina have lunch at school and come back home in the afternoon, while the other days we have lunch together at home. Massimiliano and Violetta have lunch and take a nap in the kindergarten and come home around 3 PM. Twice a week Massimilano attends a physiotherapy session in the morning, before going to the kindergarten. In the afternoon, it depends. The kids might have sport activities, sometimes they meet up with friends, or we just stay home. Usually we plan for the whole week during the weekend.

Accommodation

We live in a big semi-detached house. On the upper floor there is the kitchen and the living room, one bathroom, and three bedrooms. Downstairs on the ground floor there is a guest room that could become the bedroom for the au pair. There is also a bathroom that will be used by the au pair only, except for doing the laundry because the washing machine is there. There is also another big living room. The house has a garden and the garage to park the car. The view from the balconies is amazing, as the house is up on a hill and you can see the mountains and the valley in front of you.

Rovereto is situated inTrentino Alto Adige, in the very north of Italy bordering Austria and Switzerland. The region is best known for the beauty of its peaks. This setting encloses an extraordinary variety of landscapes: magnificent snow-capped mountaintops, woods, wide valleys, streams, lakes, the enchanting play of light between the spires of the Dolomites, typical villages with soaring bell towers, and the myriad shades of unadulterated nature. The landscape of Lake Garda is particularly picturesque; it narrows in Trentino, appearing as a fiord between the high mountains. The Dolomites are a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site and offer an unforgettable experience for ski and winter sports lovers.
