Hi! We are the Family and are looking for a Greek- speaking au pair to welcome into our home here in the United States. Our family consists of four members - my wife, our energetic child aged 4, grandma and myself. We live in a great neighborhood on a park where community and family values are highly cherished. We are excited to share our culture with you, just as we are eager for you to help teach our 4 year old daughter Greek. We look forward to you becoming a part of our daily adventures, from school runs to weekend trips to local parks and museums. Your role will be integral in nurturing our child's growth and providing them with a broader world view through your unique experiences and language. Sacramento is the capital of California and has weather warmer than Greece! It has 300+ days of sunshine and a mild winter with a total of a month of rainy days. The city is built on a grid and is walkable throughout the year. The downtown is like Washington DC, has a Capitol and a mall with all the trees and plants of California. The city proper feels like a mix of Coastal and Midwestern. There are a lot of big city amenities ranging from great restaurants, as we are the farm-to-fork capital, musea, theaters, and we have our own NBA and basketball teams. The greater metro area has 3.5 million people and is connected with two major highways. We have our own airport that we fly out of for Europe. Napa Valley is less than an hour by car, San Francisco is an hour 15 minutes and lake Tahoe for skiing less than two hours by car. During and after the pandemic a lot of the Bay Area has moved to Sacramento and still is, so Sacramento is a happening place to be.
