Nanny Needed for Newborn & Supportive Presence for Independent Elderly Parent
Hello! We’re a warm and welcoming family based in fair lawn, NJ looking for a nurturing, reliable, and flexible nanny or au pair to join our household. We’re and would love to find someone who can be a caring presence during this exciting time.
We are looking for a warm, reliable, and experienced nanny to help care for our newborn expected August 2025 and provide occasional support for an independent elderly parent who resides with us. While the primary responsibility will be focused on newborn care, we are seeking someone who is also comfortable being a kind, helpful presence for our parent, who is mobile and largely self-sufficient.

About Our Family:
• We’re parents to four children:
◦ Our oldest daughter (18) is in college and lives away during the school year.
◦ Our two sons (15 and 11) live in Israel most of the year but spend two months with us during the summer.
◦ We are expecting our newborn this August.
• An elderly parent also lives with us; she is independent and does not require caregiving.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nurturing care for a newborn, including feeding, diapering, and naptime routines
• Engage in age-appropriate developmental activities
• Light housekeeping related to the baby (laundry, bottle washing, tidying up nursery)
• Be available for light assistance or companionship for an elderly family member (e.g., helping with lunch or keeping company briefly)
Ideal Candidate:
• Experience caring for newborns and comfortable around elderly individuals
• CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to become certified)
• Non-smoker
• Trustworthy, patient, and communicative
• Comfortable in a multigenerational household setting
