Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Originally translated from Français
Hello,
We are a family with two children, a little boy and a little girl. We live in a house in Brittany 5km from the sea, (precisely in Saint Jean Trolimon) in France.

Our house is in the countryside very close to the sea. We have a huge garden of one hectare with a pond and fruit trees. We also have a cat!
We go to the sea a lot which is right next door. We practice water sports (surfing, kitesurfing etc.)
The landscapes of the region are very varied and very beautiful all around. It is quite touristy in summer. You can do a lot of things by bike.
The climate is temperate quite cool (22 degrees in summer 10 in winter) and quite humid.

We have traveled a lot but we travel less with children.

We would be happy to welcome you, to make you discover our region and our culture, and to discover yours!

Looking forward to meeting you!

Job Description

Originally translated from Français
We are looking for someone for a cultural exchange, including learning English and Spanish.
We would like help looking after the children to have a few hours of leisure again on Wednesdays and weekends (an evening to see friends, a lie-in, a surfing session, etc.), with flexible hours because our activities depend on the weather and friends. If it is possible to take care of a few meals for them during the week that would be even better!
We would like the person to also help the children put away their things.
There is no need to drive them or pick them up from school but a driving license is more practical to have a little freedom on site. We can lend our car if necessary.
Taking care of 2 children, especially a 2-year-old boy, requires self-confidence and energy! We would like the little ones to get along well with the au pair so that it is comfortable for everyone.
At home we speak French, the parents understand English fluently but we practice it little, and we roughly understand Spanish but we do not speak it (but we would like to learn it!). The children only speak French (Eliott does not speak it very well yet) and Lou also speaks Breton (regional language).

Accommodation

Originally translated from Français
The house has 3 bedrooms upstairs and an office with bathroom for the family, and downstairs a bedroom with shower room that can be made available to the au pair
The bus stop is a 5-10 minute walk away but the buses are quite infrequent as we are in the countryside. We mainly travel by car. We can lend the car if necessary. The nearby village is 2 minutes away and the city is 10 minutes away. The nearest train station is Quimper, a 25 minute drive away.
