Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Dear Future Au Pair,

Our family of 4 is moving to Sweden, and needing care starting May 2025. The area we live in is very safe and has great bus and train links to get to Saltsjobaden central or Stockholm further away. The sea is literally at the end of our garden and there is a small ski slope a few short minutes away.

Job Description

My husband usually leaves the house first to get to the office. I will usually take my oldest daughter to preschool, which is about 2-3 km away from the house. I work with people in the US so will need care for our youngest daughter (will be 7.5 months upon start of job) while I work, likely starting around 10 am and finishing up around 6 pm. Would need help with school pickup and we hope to get into some after school activities once we get ourselves established ourselves in the area. Our youngest will likely start preschool between september 2025 or early 2026.
