Dear Au Pair,
We would be delighted if we could take on a responsible au pair who loves children and is responsible for our family from now on, in 2022, 2023 or later for 5 - 12 months.
We are looking for an au pair with a very good command of English.
We look forward to spending time with you and invite you to be part of our family. We would like to help you learn German, show you our region / part of the country and, overall, spend a relaxing and enjoyable time with you.

Our family consists of 4 people. Our two sons are 6 years and 4 years old. We are an uncomplicated, warm and fun-loving family. We love to hike and go on excursions.

We would be happy if we could find an open-minded, responsible and loving young woman who likes to spend time with children. Our children love to do handicrafts, to play, to sing, to dance and also to be outside.

We live in a house with a nice big garden. A wooded area begins just a few steps from our house.

We live in a city with about 100,000 inhabitants. We have cinemas, shopping, parks, language schools, sports clubs ...
By bus / train you can reach the cities of Braunschweig, Hanover, Hildesheim or the Harz Mountains in 30 - 60 minutes, where you can enjoy nature and hike.

Important for entry:
You need (as far as I know) basic knowledge of the German language (at least level A1).

Important information about the length of stay:
If you come from the EU or EFTA country, there is no minimum length of stay.
If you come from another country (e.g. USA, Canada, Australia, then your planned minimum stay should be 6 months (maximum 12 months).

Important information about the visa:
Au pairs from EU or EFTA countries do not require a visa.
Au pairs from, for example, Australia, Canada, New Zealand or the USA are initially allowed to enter Germany without a visa. In Germany, the residence title and work permit are then applied for.

Summer AuPair:
If you plan to come as a summer au pair, please inform yourself whether a stay for less than 6 months (not EU / EFTA) is possible.

We are happy to help with questions about entry, length of stay, visa ... and deal with authorities together.

Important to Corona:
We are aware that it is currently difficult to find an au pair / family or to plan immigration.
We will of course also find out whether entry is possible and under what conditions.

Please note that we will not accept an au pair for less than 3 months.
We want you to see yourself as part of the family and feel comfortable. We would like to support you in learning the language and also show you a little bit of Germany.
