Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Dear Au Pair Candidate,

We are currently looking for a French-speaking au pair to join our family and spend time with our son, Enzo, who will be turning 3 this year. Enzo is a bright, curious child who loves exploring the world around him. He has been attending a Spanish- and English-speaking kindergarten this past year, but he will be restarting at a French preschool in September. Prior to our move to Valencia, Enzo attended a French-speaking kindergarten in Barcelona, where he enjoyed singing songs and engaging in activities in French. He had a solid understanding of the language, and we would love to help him regain that familiarity before he begins his new school.

We are excited to welcome you into our family and hope you will feel at home with us in Valencia!

Job Description

The role involves spending time with Enzo during the month of August (and part of September if possible) while I work from home. Your main focus would be to speak French with him, play together, and help him prepare for his transition to the French preschool. We hope this will be an enriching experience for you as well, and we look forward to sharing our culture, meals, and traditions with you during your stay.

As for the accommodation, you will have your own private space downstairs, which includes a comfortable room with a double bed and plenty of storage, including a trundle bed and a cupboard. The room is equipped with a desk and chair, heating, and a ceiling fan to ensure your comfort throughout the year. You will have your own entrance to the room from the front garden, allowing you privacy and independence. Additionally, you will have your own bathroom downstairs. The house is equipped with Wi-Fi, so you can stay connected during your stay.
