Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

We welcome you to San Carlos, a nice town in the middle of the bustling Bay Area / Silicon Valley, California. Our home is walking distance to down town, extremely safe, and near a pretty park. We are close to the Cal Train which you can take to get to San Francisco. We also live just 30 min from the beach in Pacifica!

Job Description

We’re looking for an au pair who absolutley loves working with children, has lots of ideas on how to expand their horizons and guide them to become caring and curious human beings. Day to day, you’ll help get our toddler ready for school and pick him up from preschool in the afternoons. You’ll also take care of the baby (diapers, feeding, exposing them to music, tummy time, play, parks, and reading). We are a team and value supporting one another to keep things running smoothly in the household. We love to live life with joy (i.e. having fun!). We also hope you can help our toddler maintain and improve his German speaking (he is already a fluent German speaker!) by speaking German with him. Ben and I will speak English with you so you can improve your English too!
