Dear Future Au Pair & Nanny,

A heartfelt welcome from our family to you!

We are a Chinese American couple living in the Shunyi District of Beijing, and we are so excited to be expecting our very first baby—a baby boy—on June 14th! This is such a special and emotional time for us, as we prepare to become first-time parents. We're looking forward to opening our home and hearts to someone who can support us during this beautiful new chapter in our lives.

We already have one wonderful nanny who will be helping us with the baby, but we are currently looking for an additional nanny or au pair to join our home. Your role would include helping us with day-to-day household tasks and offering support with baby care as needed. We're hoping to create a warm, team-oriented environment where everyone feels respected, comfortable, and appreciated.

Our home is located in Shunyi, a peaceful and family-friendly area on the outskirts of Beijing. It’s close to the international Chaoyang District and not far from the airport. We love living here because it offers a perfect balance of quiet suburban life and easy access to the excitement of the city. You’ll find everything from green parks and international supermarkets to cozy cafés and restaurants nearby.

Transportation is very convenient. The city center is about 30 to 45 minutes away by subway or car, depending on traffic. There are several bus stops and a subway station within walking distance of our home. Beijing also offers ride-hailing apps like Didi, which are affordable and very easy to use, making it simple to explore all the city has to offer.

There are also many language schools nearby, in both Shunyi and Chaoyang, if you’re interested in learning Chinese or improving your English. We are happy to support you in pursuing any personal or educational goals you may have during your stay with us.

In our household, we speak both English and Mandarin, and we enjoy the cultural richness that comes from blending both worlds. We’d love to learn more about your culture, language, and background as well, and we truly hope this will be a mutually enriching experience for all of us.

As we prepare to welcome our newborn, we know that having the right support around us will make a big difference—not just for us as parents, but also in creating a nurturing and balanced environment for our baby.
