Simple meal cooking, simple dishes, routine house chores, and errands, and support during the night if needed.

We would love someone to be my grandmother's point person and to help us (my mother and I) care for the house so she doesn't have to think about things. Someone to assist with cooking and cleaning, errands, house and yard work for now. In the future, she will need more care if she lives long enough to not be able to move on her own. At this point, we have a plan for what needs to be done at the house, and I just can't do it all and she doesn't like asking family for help. Your role would be to help her when she's tired with daily activities, and follow the house plan (meals, cleaning, yard) so she doesn't have to think about it. She is actually the nicest person I've ever met, is super simple and does not like fancy foods or things.

We will need help maintaining the yard (raking or blowing leaves, trimming back plants occasionally); really it's just keeping it neat and we are in the process of finding a caretake for the land as well. This may not be an issue.

She likes someone to talk to sometimes but gets tired easily and feels burdened with entertaining even family members at this point.
