Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Greetings from San Vincenzo in Tuscany. This small seaside town is situated on the Tuscan Coast in front of the island of Elba about 60km south of Livorno . Nearest Airports are Pisa (approx 40 a mins drive/fast train ), Florence (1,h15mins) or Rome (2,5hrs train/car). Nearby attractions include; beautiful beaches, natural hot spring health spas, boutique wineries, wide range of restaurants, bars, shops, trekking paths, sports facilities, bike hire etc. My Mum Adrienne lives o her own in a 2bedroomed apartment on the 4th floor of an apparent block just 40metres from the sea. She is a youthful 85 year old , independent with some short-term memory issues and we're looking for company mainly someone to help her with shopping and getting to gym and social club .

Job Description

A typical day could be : 10 am accompany to gym lesson /pick up at 11 am /Lunch together drop off to social club 3pm/ Pick up at 6 pm then free. I live just 8 mins away with my family and on call at any time. Most Sundays she spend with us so you would be free. We also have a helper who comes round 2-3 days a week morning or afternoon to take her out. So plenty free time envisaged. Taking my Mum for walks and shopping when needed also appreciated. She loves card and scrabble and the such . She's very easy to get on with . We are happy to discuss more than fair "pocket money"- remuneration. We have a car available for anyone with driving licence.

Apartment is approx 75sqm , tiled floors, 4th floor with elevator access, 2 double bedrooms and a small lounge with large screen TV , wifi , bathroom with shower, central heating , air con (summer gets hot!) balcony with partial view of the sea and the marina, 40 metres to the beach , supermarket 2 min walk , train station of San Vincenzo is a 5 min walk, Bus stop 1 min, free parking an use of our small car .
