The idea is that you can take care of our children while they learn English, while the parents are away from home working. The hours would be approximately 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. During that time, we won't ask you to do any housework. Simply heat up the food in the microwave, which we'll prepare for you the day before. (Although if you want to cook, you're free to do so.) All we ask is that you leave the house tidy: make the beds and put the dirty dishes in the dishwasher.
We'd like the time we can't be there to be very dynamic: activities, crafts, storytelling, etc. If at some point you have to turn on the TV because we have to finish clearing the dishes, it's not a problem. We also have a pool, which they can enjoy with you. If you're brave enough, you can take them on an excursion to Barcelona or somewhere else if you're brave enough!
After my wife arrives home, you're completely free to do whatever you want. The weekend is also free for you.
Anyway, if you want to come with us, no problem.
If you know a little Spanish, that's even better, because in an emergency, it's always easier to communicate, but it's not a critical issue. The parents' English level is quite basic, so we'd also be happy to learn.
If we come to an agreement, we'd like to draw up a short contract so both parties feel comfortable, reflecting the agreement and avoiding future conflicts.
