Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Dear Au Pair,

We’re excited to welcome you to our family in Bucharest starting September 2025! You’ll play a key role in tutoring my younger sister, Anastasia, as she begins German school. Your native German skills will be invaluable for her learning. We also appreciate help with light household chores and occasional garden tasks.

While I live and work abroad, my mum and Anastasia—who are active, friendly, and sociable—will be your primary companions. My mum speaks only Romanian, but Anastasia and I speak German and English, ensuring smooth communication.

Our home, which includes a dog, two cats, and fish, is about a 12-minute walk from the nearest bus and metro stations. By metro, you can reach the city center in 12-15 minutes, where you’ll find the charming old city filled with chic cafes and many language schools.

We can’t wait to have you join us and support Anastasia’s growth!
