The place we live in is called Santa marina, Salina. Salina is one of the 7 Aeolian islands in Sicily. It is a wonderful place where you live in a very simple way on a human scale. In spring and summer it is filled with tourists because we live in a paradise part of the unesco site. The school, shops, supermarkets are very close, 2 minutes by car. The same distance to the beaches, mountains and wonderful trails. From Salina you can visit all the other islands and go to Milazzo, a pretty Sicilian town all with the hydrofoil which is from 30 to a max of 2 hours.
