Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

We are a vibrant and active young family residing in a spacious house with a pool, conveniently located just 20 minutes away from Zurich. We are seeking an experienced and nurturing au pair to join our family and provide care for our adorable 14-month-old son, Lars. If you are passionate about working with small children and enjoy an active lifestyle, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:

Caring for Lars and ensuring his safety and well-being at all times
Engaging in age-appropriate activities, playtime, and creative stimulation
Preparing meals and snacks for Lars
Assisting with basic household tasks related to Lars (e.g., light cleaning, laundry, tidying up toys)
Accompanying Lars on outings and engaging in outdoor activities
Collaborating with us to establish a consistent daily routine for Lars

Requirements:

Prior experience working with toddlers is essential
Genuine love for children and a patient, nurturing demeanor
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively
Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (knowledge of German is a plus)
Non-smoker and comfortable around pets (we have a friendly dog)
Valid driver's license preferred (but not required)
First Aid and CPR certification is a plus
