Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

THANKS FOR YOUR INTEREST, BUT WE HAVE ALREADY FOUND OUR NEXT AUPAIR!

Dear Au Pair,

Please only apply if you have an European citzenship/passport. It is very difficult to apply for a visa for Non-European citizens and we also need to go through an agency if you don't have the European passport. Furthermore, the max. stay in Switzerland with a non-European passport is only one year and we are looking for somebody who can stay longer. I am so sorry, because I hate to say "no" to somebody because of the nationality. Thanks for your understanding.

We are looking for an aupair who helps us to arrange our life-work balance, and who wants to be part of our family. We have two kids, our daughter Emilia is 8 years old, and our son Luca is 4 years old. You should speak English with them, and help us with the housework.

It would be great, if you can start in May 2018, and stay with us for 12 months at least, but would highly appreciate if you stay for about 24 months with us.

Switzerland offers you a lot: interesting and multicultural cities, high mountains, wonderful lakes and much more. We are all very active, and love to travel. As our au pair, you will have the opportunity to discover Switzerland and nearby countries such as Germany, Austria, France and Italy with us or by yourself.

Currently we are having an au pair from Spain who has been staying with us for almost two years now. Our three previous au pairs stayed with us for a longer period of time, too. I have been an au pair myself a long time ago. It was an amazing experience, and I hope you will feel the same living with us!

Job Description

THANKS FOR YOUR INTEREST, BUT WE HAVE ALREADY FOUND OUR NEXT AUPAIR!

Dear aupair,

We are looking for a new aupair and you would already be our 5th aupair. With each of the aupairs we had a unique and unforgetable time and we are still in contact with all four of them.

Do you like children and family life? Are you open minded, caring, reliable, trustworthy, funny, loyal, good-mannered, kind and polite? Do you have lots of energy, and are you a happy and content person with lots of intuition? Wow, great. That's exactly what we are looking for.

During the weeks you are taking care of Emilia and Luca, play and sing with them, and teach them English, but also support Emilia with her daily homework. Emilia goes to school, so in the mornings she will be away, and you only have to take care of Luca. He is in nursery on Wednesdays and Thursday mornings. In August he will go to kindergarten every morning. We do also need some help with light housework, but don't expect you to clean the house as we do have a cleaning lady, who is coming once a week.

It would be perfect if you like cooking, but it is not a must. Nevertheless, you should be able to make breakfast and prepare a healthy and warm lunch for the kids.

If you think we can be “your second family”, and feel happy about what we offer and expect from you, please feel free to get in touch with us.

We are looking forward to hearing from you.
TELO (Tanja, Emilia, Luca, Oliver)
