Welcome to our family! Greetings from Shanghai, one of the biggest and most prosperous cities in China. I am a university English teacher and my family lives close to my university, where it is convenient to go to the city center by metro. We are so excited to have you join us as our au pair. We know that moving to a new country and living with a new family can be both exciting and challenging, but we hope that you will feel right at home with us.
We have been looking forward to your arrival for quite some time now, and we have prepared everything we can think of to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Our home is a place where we love to laugh, share stories, and create wonderful memories together, and we hope that you will be a part of that.
As an au pair, you will play an important role in our family. You will be mainly responsible for teaching our kids English and we will not ask you to do housework. We believe that your presence will bring a fresh perspective and new experiences to our children, and we are grateful for the opportunity to learn from you as well.
We also want to make sure that you have plenty of time to explore and experience the local culture. We encourage you to take part in various activities, meet new people, and improve your language skills. If there are any places you would like to visit or things you would like to try, please let us know. We would be happy to help you make the most of your time here.
