Hello and welcome!

We are a warm, ethical Chinese family with Belgian nationality, currently living in Shanghai. Our family includes Dad (Walter), Mom (Daisy), our joyful baby boy Hayden (born in October 2024), and two gentle British Shorthair cats. We are native Mandarin speakers, and English is spoken daily in our home. We’ve lived and worked in Belgium, the Netherlands, Korea, and China, and deeply value cross-cultural connection.

We are looking for a kind, engaging Au Pair from an English-speaking country to join our family from around the time Hayden turns one year old. Our main goal is to support his early language development and provide immersive, natural English interaction through play, daily routines, and gentle learning. No heavy chores—just meaningful time with a curious, growing child.

We currently live in a spacious riverside apartment with access to a large garden. After October 2025, we may move to an even larger apartment or house to further enhance Hayden’s living and learning environment. You’ll always have your own private room and space, and we are committed to making you feel welcome, respected, and supported as part of our family.
