I am a mum of 5 year old triplets and we live in Southampton. My husband Derrick, is Kenyan, we both work full time and the children will be going into Year 1 in September.

We are looking for someone warm, outgoing, fun and patient to help us with (some) before and (mostly) after school childcare.

We would need help with school pick up (3.15pm) until 5.15pm each weekday, with some flexibility to help with extra evenings (as I have to work late at times). Very occasionally we might ask for help over a weekend or school holidays. We do have some family close by who help us too, but our boys are energetic and can be tiring for grandparents to look after too often.

This would suit a Au Pair who is also hoping to work more hours (elsewhere) or study as during daytimes you would be free. Alternatively, if you are a Nanny looking for a few additional hours, we could manage with just 2-3 days a week of afterschool help. Paying £15 per hour.

As a family, we love to have fun and tend to enjoy being outdoors. We visit the park a lot and try to tire the children out with bike rides, although the kids also love staying in and playing games or having a movie night. Our boys are energetic, lively and adventurous, so our house can be noisy. But they are also polite, kind and eager to please. The school says thry are the best in their class for tidying up! They lovemaking up stories and writing, as they are now learning to read and write. They play well together independently of us, but we are really sociable and love meeting up with friends.
