Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

We’re excited to introduce ourselves and share a bit about our family and the opportunity to join us as an au pair here in the beautiful Caribbean.
Our son arrived in October, and we are over the moon! As two dedicated and hardworking parents, our days are quite busy, and we’re looking for someone wonderful to join us and help with our new arrival. The wife will be on maternity leave until end of April, so will be around to help you explore the island in the first few months!

We have a deep love for life and a variety of interests that keep us busy and happy. We enjoy spending time at the beach, boating, watching F1 races, hiking, and driving through trails in rain forests of Antigua. We’re both movie enthusiasts, enjoy reading, learning new skills on Youtube, and love to cook together— with specialties like homemade pizza and pasta from scratch! We also enjoy traveling, having picnics, and listening to music. Our home is filled with laughter, a good sense of humor, and delicious aromas from our kitchen adventures.

Here's what we can offer you:

- Bedroom is accessed via a communal porch with our house, but is a separate private entrance.
- Access to a car for your transport needs.
- Use of our property’s private gym and pool, perfect for relaxation and fitness.

We’re looking for an au pair to help with house maintenance and child care during certain sections of the day. Your assistance would allow us to focus on our work as needed while knowing our baby is well taken care of. Additionally, we’re hoping to carve out a little time for ourselves with a weekly date night, trusting that our little one is in good hands.

Job Description

As our au pair, you would help with a variety of tasks, including child care for our newborn, taking turns cooking or preparing snacks, household cleaning duties, or in general a second set of hands around our little one! Your support will allow us to balance our busy schedules and ensure our home remains a warm and organized environment. We’re looking for someone who can flexibly integrate into our daily life, has a good sense of humor, and can become a valued member of our family!
