Hello future Au Pair! We are thrilled to potentially welcome you as a member of our family. We are a young adventurous couple on the west coast of Florida and we are expecting our first child in October 2025. Given this is our first, we will all be learning how to live this new and exciting life together, and we hope you can assist us with this process. While we are quite active and enjoy boating, camping, fishing, running, and hiking, we also enjoy our lazy days on the couch watching movies with our dog, Max. We are “foodies” and love trying new things. My husband is a great cook and we hope you’ll be interested in trying all kinds of new foods. We are eager to share our American way of life, but just as eager to learn about your culture, as well as you as a person. We hope you’ll share with us your traditions, holidays, food, hobbies, and information about your family as well. We are looking for someone who is not just here for work and vacation, but we want someone who will be like a big sister or aunt to our child. My schedule is different from most in that I work for 7 days in a row (usually 12-hour shifts starting Wednesday through Tuesday) and then I’m off work for 7 days. My husband works from home and is almost always at home during the day. He will be busy but is available for assistance if needed. We will need more help with the baby while I’m at work and much less help when I’m off. We hope you’re someone who is flexible and understands that communication really is the key to making this a great experience for all of us.
