Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

We are a warm and welcoming family of four—Mum, Dad, our energetic 6-year-old son, and our sweet 2-year-old daughter. We’re full of energy and love spending time together, whether it’s exploring the outdoors or enjoying cozy activities indoors (especially during England’s chilly weather!).

We’re looking for an au pair who feels equally at home playing outside as they do engaging in fun, creative activities indoors. Our children are affectionate, outgoing, and full of life. They’ll welcome you with open arms and big smiles if you can offer them plenty of care, attention, and laughter. We can’t wait to find someone who’ll become a part of our happy little family!

Job Description

A typical day:

07.15-08.30 -kids wake up, change nappy/clothes, have milk/breakfast, brush teeth
08.30-1200 either nursery for our daughter or play time at home / outdoors.
1200-1500 break
1500-1700 snack and park/play with both kids
1730 prepare and feed kids dinner, then homework for our son
1830 bathtime and night milk for our daughter
1930 Our daughters bedtime and day is finished.

Able to do light housework relating to the children such as hoovering, dusting and children’s laundry as we have a regular cleaner.

5 days a week to include Friday, Saturday and Sunday due to our working patterns

Good sized bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and double bed. There is a wardrobe and storage areas for clothes, bed side tables, a desk with a large TV as well as an airconditioning unit.
Access to most major television streaming services, inclusive ultrafast wifi, mobile phone contract included (but no phone)

We live in stevenage, a medium sized town which is about 40 minutes by car and 20 minutes by train from London. It has all major shops and restaurants as well as lots of green areas and parks. We live on quiet estate and opposite a small forest.
