Join Our Loving Family as an Au Pair in Stockholm!

We are a close-knit family of four living in Vasastan, Stockholm. We, Oscar and Niclas, have been together for 12 years and married for six.

In late 2022, our daughter Hedda was born, and this past July, her little brother Hugo joined our family. Becoming parents has been the most incredible journey, not only because our children were born through surrogacy in Mexico, but because of the everyday duties and joy of being dads.

We live in Vasastan, a safe, vibrant and well-connected neighborhood just 10-15 minutes north of central Stockholm. The area is full of cafés, restaurants, gyms, shops, and other essential services — including language schools, where you can take your language lessons. Public transport options, including the commuter trains, subway’s green line and several bus routes, are just a block away.

Job Description

We’re seeking a warm, reliable, and family-oriented Au Pair to become an extra adult member of our family and help with daily tasks and childcare. Your responsibilities would include:
• Mornings: Preparing Hedda’s breakfast, getting her ready for kindergarten, and taking her there.
• Afternoons: Picking Hedda up from kindergarten, playing with her, preparing dinner, and helping with bedtime.
• Household Tasks: Light housekeeping, such as vacuuming, laundry, and keeping the kitchen tidy when time allows.

In August, when Hugo joins kindergarten, Hedda’s schedule will include him too. Since this will be our first time hosting an Au Pair, we’re happy to create a weekly schedule together, ensuring it works well for all of us.

Additionally, since Oscar occasionally works night shifts and Niclas’s job involves some travel, some weeks may have busier days, while others then will be less busy. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable with this variation in scheduling.
