Dear Future Au Pair,

Welcome to our family!

We are a family of three living in the beautiful suburb of Djursholm, just outside of Stockholm. Our home is located in a peaceful and green area, only a short three-stop train ride from the city center. With excellent public transport connections—both trains and buses—you’ll find getting around easy and convenient.

Our son, Aston, has just turned one and is full of curiosity, energy, and smiles. Watching him grow and explore the world is a joy, and we’re looking forward to finding someone who will share in that experience with us.

We live in a spacious and cozy house nestled right next to a lovely park with a playground—perfect for strolls or outdoor playtime with Aston. Your living space will be private and located on the top floor of the house, giving you your own quiet retreat while still being part of our family life.

We’re excited to welcome someone who is warm, responsible, and open to new experiences. We value open communication and creating a comfortable and happy environment for everyone in our home.

Job Description

As our au pair, your main focus will be helping us care for Aston, our one-year-old son. He’s at a wonderful age—curious, playful, and full of energy—so we’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with young children and can support his growth and development through play, routines, and gentle care.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Spending quality time with Aston (playing, reading, going for walks, etc.)
• Helping with his daily routine (meals, naps, diaper changes)
• Household tasks related to Aston and the house (tidying, cleaning, preparing snacks, etc.)
• Preparing occasional meals
• Taking Aston to and from pre-school

Aston will be going to pre-school so you’ll have a good amount of free time and flexibility during the day and weekends.

Who You Are

We’re looking for someone who is:
• Caring and patient, especially with young children
• Responsible and proactive, with a good sense of routine and safety
• Positive and warm-hearted, someone who naturally becomes part of the family
• Comfortable with household tasks
• Open to new cultures and experiences
• Ideally with some experience in childcare
