Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Dear Au Pair,

Our family consists of two energetic 9-years-old twin boys, a sweet 2-year-old daughter, parents, and our Pomeranian. We are located in the heart of Esslingen, a city renowned for its traditional architecture, charming cafes, and parks. Our family is on the look for a warm-hearted, empathetic, and caring au pair to join our dynamic daily routine.

We cherish individuality and understand the importance of personal space, thus we wholeheartedly support your desire for either integration into our family activities or independence. Our ideal au pair is someone with clear aspirations, flexibility, and the ability to integrate into our daily routines, offering support.

We are in search of an au pair who can join us anytime between Septembe/ October.

To ensure a good experience for both you and our family, we have outlined a few requirements:

- Proficiency in English or German, with at least a B2 level. A basic understanding of German (A1 level) may be necessary for visa applications.
- Strong driving skills are essential, as you will be responsible for transporting our children to their various activities.
- Patience, caring nature, self organization, goal-orientation, and effective communication skills are qualities we highly value.

Job Description

Weekly Schedule:

Monday to Thursday:

6:30 AM - 8:00 AM: Prepare breakfast, get the boys ready for school, and organize their belongings.
3:00 PM: Pick up Melanie from nursery (accompanied by the nanny).
4:00 PM: Pick up the boys from school.
4:15 PM - 7:30 PM: Supervise homework, bring the boys to their activities, assist with dinner preparation, and help the boys get ready for bed.

Friday:

2:00 PM - 8:00 PM: Pick up the boys from school, take them to their activities, and prepare them for bed.

Responsibilities Include:

- Transporting children to their activities.
- Preparing meals for the children.
- Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in children's areas.
- Managing the children's laundry.
- Caring for our daughter when the nanny is unavailable.
- Cleaning up after yourself.

What We Offer:

We live in a large house in the upper part of the city, allowing us to enjoy beautiful nature and city views. You'll enjoy the comfort of your private apartment, complete with its own entrance. It's fully furnished to meet all your needs: a well-equipped kitchen, bathroom, an office space, spacious bedroom, and a living room featuring a smart TV with Netflix and Disney Plus for your entertainment. Recognizing the value of having your own space, we're providing a monthly food allowance of 200 euros. This amount is calculated based on average costs in our country, giving you the freedom to purchase and prepare your meals exactly as you prefer in your kitchen. While you have the independence to dine on your own, we warmly invite you to join us for dinner during the week, enjoying some time together.
