Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello dear future au pairs!

We are a family with two children (almost 3 and almost 6) and live in Stuttgart. We are expecting our third child at the beginning of September and would be delighted to have an au pair during the first year after the birth (preferably for a year or longer).
We are a musical family and live in a beautiful little house in the park of Solitude Palace with good bus connections. Stuttgart is a big city where you can find almost anything.

We are interested in cultural exchange and look forward to getting to know you!

Job Description

The kindergarten is a 20-minute drive away, so it's important to us that you have a driver's license and are a safe driver.
Your responsibilities would include picking up the two older children from kindergarten by car, accompanying them to afternoon sports or musical activities, going out with the children, playing ball, doing crafts, or similar activities. I would also appreciate some help with cooking and hanging out the laundry. Otherwise, we have a cleaning lady and are well-organized. Your mornings and evenings are largely free for you, if you wish. We will, of course, take care of language courses, the Deutschlandticket (Germany ticket), insurance, and the usual things.

As a family, we sometimes take short trips to beautiful places in the area and also visit family in Munich, Speyer, and Hamburg. You are, of course, welcome to come along!

Accommodation

We live in a beautiful historic house in the park of Solitude Palace. From here, it's about 20 minutes by bus or 15 minutes by car to the center of Stuttgart.

You will have your own large room and private bathroom (both on a different floor than the rest of the family).
