Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Dear Au Pair,

in a small village in Lower Saxony we live on a small farm to give our children a home close to nature. Even though we live in the countryside we have nothing to miss thanks to the infrastructure wich takes us to the grocery stores in the next village and the shopping area in the nearest city by bus and even to Hamburg or Hannover by train. We are willing to take you to the train station if you want to explore our country on your own for a few days. Also we would like you to come with us if we visit our family and friends.

Job Description

While you’re here you will be a part of our family. That means that you will get the same tasks that each family member has. Most of the time we would like you to take care of the children. We want them to know natural processes and would be glad if you could help them learning by doing. You have the option to do farming with them like growing and harvesting plants or feeding the chicken. Furthermore we expect help in the household and want you to take care of easy tasks like clearing the table or watering the plants. Your working time will be flexible.
