Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

We are a family with a dad and 3 and 5 year old girls and a dog. The dog and the girls are at dad's place every second week and at the mom's place the other week. Everything is going very smoothly between the parents and you would live with the dad's large house and visit the moms house during her children week.

We speak native Finnish, fluent english and have basics for german, spanish and swedish.

The house you will live in is large and contains in-house gym, jacuzzi and cinema. There is also nice yard with grills and terraces. You will have your own prive room with a lock, own access to the house, own fridge and other agreed perks, e.g. micro vawe. The girls spend days at daycare and then do variety of the sports afternoon.

The house is about 10km away from Tampere city center, 20 minutes with a direct bus line. The family has a cottage in Lapland and relatives in the eastern Finland, where we visit a few times a year - you would be seeing all the miracles of the Finnish Lapland and country of thousand lakes.

Job Description

You would help with the kids, either in the morning or in the evening. That might include taking or collecting back from daycare. Then it may include feeding and preparing and driving kids to sport trainings and back. You might help with taking kids to bed. On weekends there might be occasional time spend with kids at home or outside. You would help occasionally with preparing food, cleaning and taking care of the dog.

We appreciate the flexibility that goes both ways for all family members including you being part of the lovely and loving family. You would receive fair compensation for your tasks.

The house is about 10km away from Tampere city center, 20 minutes with a direct bus line. The neighborhood is very calm.

The family has a cottage in Lapland where they visit few times a year - you would be seeing all the miracles of the Finnish Lapland. The grandparents are living in the Eastern Finland where you could visit with the family to see the miracle of thousand lakes and Finnish summer house culture.
