Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

We are a bilingual and bicultural family (the mother is Mexican and the father is American) looking for an au pair to support us in the care and upbringing of our sweet baby boy Santi. We speak Spanish and English at home. We live in a 4-bedroom house in a gated community in a beautiful part of Puerto Vallarta. The community has security and a pool.

Job Description

We are looking for an au pair who loves children, is caring, and responsible. The main job would be to support the mother in caring for the baby while the husband is at work. We want to integrate the au pair as part of the family, but also respect professional boundaries, as well as the need for free time, space, and autonomy. Therefore, it is important to maintain good communication and establish agreements that are fair and agreeable to both the au pair and us. The payment for exclusive childcare is $500 USD per month but increases to $600 if the Au pair does light cleaning to help us keep the house clean.

We would like to hire someone to help us 40 hours a week, Monday through Saturday.
