Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello. We look forward to welcome a caring, reliable and solution-oriented caregiver in our family. We would prefer someone who is not too young and who has some experience living with the elderly.

In addition to my mom, our family comprises a dog and a cat.

We live 15 minutes by car from the capital city of Mauritius which remains accessible by a regular bus service. During your free time, you will be able to go around the country easily by public transport. And if you like sunny beaches and warm lagoons, you will definitely like living on the island.

Job Description

The caregiver will assist my mom with her hygiene, her meals, and mobility. She will also engage her in conversations in order to keep the mind alert.

The caregiver will take her BP daily and ensure that she takes her medication. She will also engage her into light exercises to improve her flexibility. She will give her a light massage daily to ensure proper circulation.

Additionally, the aupair will cook meals for the family, ensure that the animals are fed and generally keep the house and its surroundings tidy.
