Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

We are looking for an au pair to join us from the beginning of January.
We are a busy family looking for a helping hand and someone to become an extra member of the family.
I have been the luckiest host mummy ever and had 12 of the most wonderful young lady’s join our family as au pairs. They are all happy to provide references.
I have two crazy but adorable young boys Freddie who is 12 and Ralph who is 9.
I own three children’s nursery schools so a lot of my time is spent running the business. My husband works abroad often. Our biggest interest is travelling the world on holidays and caring for the multitude of pets we have!

Job Description

We can offer a super fun family and many many adventures.
In return we need someone to help out with the boys in the morning getting them dressed, giving breakfast and taking them to school. We need someone who can drive and you will have your own car to use at your leisure.
Later in the afternoon we need someone to collect the boys again from school, bring home and cook tea for them and try to squeeze some homework out of them. We would also expect certain housekeeping to be done eg, laundry, dishwasher, vacuuming, keep kitchen clean, keep boys rooms tidy.
We have lots of pets so need someone who is comfortable around them and doesn’t mind helping look after them. When we go away on holiday we need our au pair to look after all the animals for us whilst we are gone.
We will give £110 a week in pocket money.
We absolutely adore travelling and the boys have been to many places like Japan, Vietnam, Borneo, Bali, Hong Kong, Philippines, Kualar Lumpur, Australia (to see an old au pair), New Zealand,South Korea (to see an old au pair), Singapore. As well as America and lots of Europe.
We own a house in Tremolat, France and spend a lot of time there enjoying our swimming pool, garden and the countryside.
We’d love to learn more French. Also I am a teacher so would be happy to help out teaching you English.
I employ lots of friendly girls between the age of 18-29 at my Nursery and I know they would be happy to include you in their social plans. So you wouldn’t need to worry about making friends.

The position can be for as long as you require. Or could be extended.

Accommodation

A good sized room with large window and single bed. The room is downstairs to offer you some privacy. We have a lovely home and large garden that backs onto our field. We live in a village called Thornton in Lancashire which is very close to the tourist seaside town Blackpool. We are also in a super location for travelling to Manchester, Liverpool and the beautiful Lake District.
