Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

To the Au Pair,

We are thrilled to welcome you to our family! We are a lively family of five living in Tottenham Hale, London. I'm Samra, 26 years old, and currently preparing to start my teacher training this September, which will run until July 1, 2025. My husband, Yassin is 28 and keeps quite busy with his work. Our three little ones are Leila, aged 3, Ilyas, aged 2, and Aesha, who is just 10 months old.

We want you to feel at home and enjoy your time in London. You will have your own room for privacy, and you'll be free to explore this vibrant city whenever you’re off duty. Tottenham Hale is a great spot to live in – the tube station and bus station are just a 2-minute walk from our apartment. From here, you can easily reach King's Cross St Pancras in 10 minutes and Oxford Circus in 20 minutes on the Victoria line.

Your typical hours will align with school hours, and you’ll have weekends off to enjoy your time. You’re also welcome to take time off during the Christmas and Easter holidays in the UK. We're flexible and want to make sure you have a wonderful experience, so you can stay with us until September 1, 2025, if you'd like to enjoy the summer in London as well.

Job Description

We are looking forward to having you as a part of our family during this busy year. With my training schedule and my husband's work commitments, we could really use an extra pair of hands, especially during school hours. While there will be times when you’ll need to care for all three children at once, we will do our best to ensure that this is balanced and manageable. Additionally, Leila and Ilyas will be attending nursery for some hours during the week, so you’ll have some time with just the youngest child.
