Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello, it's great that you're interested in our family! We live with our three – soon to be four – children in Trier, a small city in southwest Germany. We bought a house there two years ago and renovated it. We are very happy in our part of town. There's a park, all the major shops, and the city center is 20 minutes away. The bus connections there are also very good.

Job Description

Since I live at home, our au pair doesn't have to be alone with all the children, but should share care with me. Accompanying them to sports classes, trips into town, time at the playground, crafts, and games at home and in the garden are on the agenda. By arrangement, we would also be happy for you to babysit in the evenings from time to time. I'll be doing most of the housework, so your responsibility during that time would be to look after the children.

We have a small guest room for the au pair, and Wi-Fi is available, of course. At the moment, we as a family have to share a bathroom with the au pair because the second bathroom still needs to be renovated.
