Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hi dear future Au Pair,

Welcome to our little family and to Vaals! We would be glad to make our first experience with you. We both come from big families and love having people around us. I am a bubbly and cheerful person, also a bit chaotic. I started working again recently and need a bit of help (not much) with the kids and or around the house occasionally. We live in a fairly big house, which has 2 floors. In the below floor, you would have your very own living quarters, a bedroom with big windows towards the garden, a spacious living room and a kitchen/washing room. So hopefully your stay will be as pleasant as possible.

We live in Vaals, NL, which is bordering on Germany and Belgium. This is a quaint and beautiful small town. With a short 15 minutes distance to the Aachen City Centre (by Bus) and we live 8 minutes walking distance to the Vaals City Centre. You get the nearest bus station in 4 minutes walking distance. The buses go to either Aachen or Maastricht for example. Maastricht is one of the bigger Dutch cities, which is about half an hour away by bus. So there is alot to see and to explore, living in the "Drei Länder Eck" (meaning the three Joining countries).
