Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Dear Au Pair,

We are a multicultural family of three: the father is Spanish, and the mother is Turkish. We live in a spacious home with a pool in a quiet area of La Canyada, close to Valencia and well connected to the city center by metro.

We have a 9-year-old son who attends a British school in the area. We are currently looking for a native French-speaking au pair who can spend time with him, particularly in the mornings and after school, to help him develop his French language skills. He has only recently started learning French, so it would be ideal if our au pair has some experience or knowledge in teaching French.

We are an open, welcoming family and would love for our au pair to feel like one of us. We’d be delighted to include her in our daily activities, travels, and other experiences. Valencia is a fantastic city for experiencing Spanish culture, and our home is a multicultural space where she can enjoy a warm and enriching environment.

We hope to find a committed, kind person who is ready to join and share this experience with us.

Job Description

Native French Speaker – Excellent proficiency in spoken and written French to provide effective language immersion.

Experience with Children – Previous experience caring for or teaching young children, ideally around 9 years old.

Basic French Teaching Skills – Familiarity with language teaching methods or techniques for beginners, especially for children.
