Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello dear au pair!
We are a family with mom & dad, 2 children and grandma & grandpa in the same household. We have a big house with a big garden and pool and 2 cats.
Our place Waldzell is a small village with 2,000 inhabitants. The nearest town is 10km away and offers a shopping center for shopping and there is also the possibility to attend a language school. Directly in front of our house is a bus stop and exit point. We are 1 hour away from both Linz and Salzburg.
With us it is very rural ie. if you like being in nature, are sporty (running, swimming, cycling, hiking) and you can keep yourself busy in peace, then you've come to the right place!
We love life in the country, but still like to go to Salzburg or Linz for a day or to Vienna for 1 night to get a taste of the big city air.

Job Description

It is important to us that our children learn English in a playful way. Ie. playing together, singing English songs... The AuPair should be happy to spend time with the children and jump on the trampoline or simply name things in English when going for a walk, so that they automatically learn a lot of vocabulary. And also learn the most important sentences and greetings automatically in everyday life and you are not afraid of another language.
Of course, we would also be happy if you take on certain household chores that you enjoy... at least. so far that I don't have to clean up afterwards. eg. If you go on a bike tour together, the bikes will be put back where you picked them up. Or when we make a snack, we help set the table together...
