Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello future Au Pair: We are a family of 4. My wife and I, and our two daughters who are 2 years old and 10 months old. We live in Wappingers Falls NY. We live in a house. This location is about 1 hour and 20 min to New York city by train. The train station that goes to New York City is about a 10 minute ride. There are also buses in our area and the bus stop is about a 5 min walk from the home. There are several language schools nearby, one of them being the Beacon city school district, about 10 minutes away by car. I work as Medical Doctor and my wife stays at home with the kids for now. Job Description

We would expect the Au Pair to have some childcare experience. We will teach as we go along. The usual childcare duties include dressing, bathing, cooking for kids, cleaning up after them, keeping their toys clean and sanitized, laundry for their clothes and ironing. Also keep their play are and their rooms clean. My wife will be home with the children also and will guide you along the way. There will be times where you will need to manage and supervise the children yourself when we go out for dinner or the gym.
